..went to watch Exorcist: the beginning yesterday at GSC Mid Valley with bunch of old friends whom I am going to move with them next semester again. The movie is so shocking in the sound effect and sudden appearance. Compare to other korean ghost movie, this movie is not that scary to me and the ghost or should it be called monster is not so scary though. But this movie has a quite nice story line. It was first started with the past story of a massacre at a desert between the soldiers and there was a priest walking around blessing the dead body. Then they movie moved forward to some age and a church was found to be burried in a desert, so the digging starts and an ex-priest was requested to visit the digging and discover something for the man who asked him.
So, the priest finally agree and went to this Africa continent (I forgot the exact name of the place :p) and after getting informations from the British army, he went to the digging site. Oh ya, now I remember the place, it is Nairobi, Kenya. :p Then at the digging site, the church roof was already seen and after few days, they went into it and discover that the cross was turned up side down and there is a statue of Lucifer and pictures of torture. So, basically this movie is about Christianity. This ex-priest was no longer believe in his own religion and try to find out the mistery of this church. In the end, after he witness some unusual things which can’t be human, he started to believe in God again and he in the end unposessed the evil that resides in a girl’s body (a doctor at the digging town) and he ended up as a priest again. The girl dies at last due to the back brain injuries that happen to her when she fell down. :p This is just a short summary of the movie that jumps around. But, I can say that it is scary in the other way. and one funny thing is that the evil said few bad words like fuck and whore a few times. hahha Some scenes in the movie was cut like a baby full of worms that only shown for a sec and few disgusting stuffs.
