Chee Meng Hainan Chicken Rice - a hainanese chicken rice restaurant located somewhere in Bukit Bintang which served chicken rice and many other side dishes such as Thai Style Mango Salad (kerabu), Fried Omelette and many more. The chicken rice here is delicious and great. The chili sauce is great too and the pricing is reasonable. Me and some friends here used to go there and take our lunch everytime we go to Lowyat Plaza or Bukit Bintang area for weekend hang out and shopping. I went and checked out the newly opened book store at Berjaya Times Square - Borders. The biggest branch in the world of Borders book store was opened here and franchised by Berjaya Groups. So, I went and checked it out when I dropped by Berjaya Times Square for a movie yesterday. It is bigger than MPH in One Utama. It is more spacious and has more seats for visitors to sit down and review the books. There are sofas and benches at every corner of every section.

The books range are more and more classifications with the availability of Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia’s range of books at one section. They also have a big section of Music with cd player set with few latest songs or recommended songs for the customer to review. Whilst the Movie section has quite a wide range of DVDs and VCDs. Each floor has more than one information counter where the customer can ask for assistance with the products. The most crowded section is the Magazine corner, followed by the kids section. There are lots of people reviewing (or was it reading?) the magz. In the kids section, the parents were accompanying their kids reading books at few kids tables and seats provided at one corner.

What is Live Saving Sports? Live Saving is the term used to express the skills used to save people from drowning and water accidents. While Live Saving Sports is a term coined by the Internatonal Life Saving Federation (ILS) to denote the competitive component of Life Saving. The sport is divided into two categories: Still Water and Open Water events, and involves 3 vigorous disciplines - Endurance Swim; Beach Racing and Demonstration of Rescue Technique using various craft under strong surf conditions. The sport has become a regular feature in the calendar of the Commonwealth Games, and the ILS runs a biennial series known as World Rescue. Next World Rescue will be held in February 2006 at Australia. LSSM (Life Saving Society Malaysia) also organize the annual Life Saving Sport Competition. Event included in the Still Water (Swimming Pool) are:

- 100 m Obstacle Race (Individual)
- 4×50m Obstacle Race (Team Event)
- 100m Manikin Carry with Fins (Individual)
- 50m Manikin Carry (Individual)
- 4×25m Manikin Relay (Team Event)
- 100m Manikin Tow with rescue tube and fins (Individual)
- 4×50m Rescue Tube Relay (Team Event) - uses Fins and Rescue Tube

Saw this unique cookies in mini market in the campus and decided to try it out. There are four different ingredients which are Pistachio, Coconut, Sesame, and Almond. Their slogan is “… for a truly scrumptious feeling!”. Product of Malaysia and manufactured by Haewaytian Cake House Sdn. Bhd. - Shah Alam, Selangor. It even has their website at Oversea[tod]com[tod]my. I bought the Pistachio and Coconut flavor for a try. The coconut flavor was kinda soft and pistachio flavor was great. There are three packets inside a box and 3 pieces of cookies each pack. The box is kinda cool with the lining to open up. Its like opening a gift box, but only that you have to push it in and tear out the cut-out lining to open it up. Very cool huh?

Okay, after surfing out the website, I found out that Oversea is the name of the restaurant in Malaysia. It has many branches such as Jalan Imbi, Cheras, Amcorp Mall, PJ, Subang Parade, Sri Petaling and Ipoh. No only this LeLeaf cookies, they also have moon cake, wedding cake, paste, fruits pie, pao and many more. I couldn’t cover more of the website as some were written in Mandarin. haha Anyway, my conclusion on this cookies is great. The cookies are great. Delicious and nice packaging.

Matilda is an adopted girl by a family that is too desperate for money. She never get attention from the family since young. She was left alone doing her stuffs and learning by her own. She is very brilliant and smart. She learnt to take care of herself since very young at the age of three. She started to likes reading and have read every single magazine in the house. Till then she was out of books to read, and asked her dad to buy one for her which is denied. She is then look for a library and walked to the library everyday when the parents were out doing their hunt for money. By the age of six she wanted to go to school and the parents didn’t give. Came one day when a principal of a school wanted to buy a used car from her dad, they came into a deal. The daughter get a free school and she get the car. So, she was allowed to go to school. She was so happy and desperate to meet friends.

The school was not that lively one, but there are children and its all good enough for her. So, the principal lady is a fierce person and has a cruel mind against children. She likes to torture them and anyone that violates rules or naughty will be sent to a choke room (a room surrounded by nails). Day after day she goes to the school and go through all the experiences, met new friends and get a good teacher. Soon, she discovered that she had a supernatural power which will come out when someone shouted at her. Slowly she learnt to control the supernatural power and master it. She is able to control it whenever she wish. She uses the power to freak out the cruel principal and made her left the school.

Lesson learnt: The more you read, the more you learnt. Be patient and make use of anything that you had.
