Located at mid valley megamall, center court, beside Toys’r'us and Picollo Mondo. I have been thinking of trying it out for sometime since it opened, and finally on Friday after War of The World and get myself a Da Vinci Code book by Dan Brown. The interior design is nice and surrounding looked so relaxing. Service was great and food were great too. I asked the waiter of their specialties and found out that their best is on the nasi lemak and nasi Bojari (Indonesian coloured rice with fried chicken, beef rendang chunks and big asam prawn (skinless). So, I ordered the nasi Bojari just to see how they serve it and what is coloured rice. It was served on top of a banana leaf.
The rice was delicious and has a good smell. The chicken? Super good and crispy. They cooked it just right. The beef rendang chunks is nice too to flavour up the rice. Then the asam prawn has a great taste. This nasi Bojari is very good. My rate for it 9/10. No regret for it, although it is kinda expensive. (RM 19 for this).
And I got myself a glass of Ice Lemon Tea which came with a separate glass of sugar solution. This approach is nice, so the customer can adjust up to their liking on the sweetness of the tea.
The food and drink were served really fast. Just one or two minutes after I ordered it, they both came and served on the table. Oh ya, they also have other local food such as Char Kwe Tiaw, Fried Rice, Kailan, Fish Head Curry, Curry Chicken, and some western food as well. Lots of foods to try out. But for the first time, nasi Bojari or nasi lemak is a recommended one. Drinks? lots too. They have few range of whiskey too served on glass (cost around RM 16), beer, juices and other normal drinks. Nah now come to the desserts. I didn’t try out their desserts as I was kinda strict on the budget now, but they have quite nice range of desserts. Cendol, Ais Kacang, Jelly, and some which I don’t really notice.
I tried to capture the menu from inside out, but just a few moment after I catched the front cover of the menu, it was taken away by the waiter. haha I have to act like I was playing with the phone or doing some sms while trying to take the picture of the food, menu, and the surroundings. At this kind of place alone and taking pictures of everything you saw will make you looked like a stupid ass. So, I maintained my cool here as I was surrounded by customers all the way from north, south, east and west. hehe
Will go back again some other day to try out the other foods. Pricing is kinda high compare to Little Penang Cafe, but with their quality of food and service, it is acceptable. The waiters were well trained and good mannered. I was fully satisfied having my dinner there for the first time.
