Seoul Garden - a Korean BBQ restaurant which is quite famous here as I can see. I and few friends went and tried it out few days ago. We went to the one located at Nge Ann City Tower A, 5th Floor. There are few more branches here such as Bugis, Causeway Point, Marina Square, Jurong Point and few more. So, we went in to the Nge Ann City one and paid for our Weekday Dinner price plus a freeflow drink. It cost around S$ 24 per person. You are given a choice of few soups for your boiling pot. The choices are Tomyam, Kimchi, Ginseng Chicken, and Chinese Herbal Soup I think. We decided on Kimchi soup.

So here we are ready to hunt down the foods and bbq them. Ate a lot of chicken and beef. So far the beef taste the best and I took this dunno what fish, its whitish and seasoned with black pepper. It tooked the longest to cook and it taste nothing. No taste at all to the tounge. I can feel a weird taste on my throat and nose everytime I chew on it. It felt like a strong poking taste, something like hair gel or superglue or smelt of bleach I think. So bad taste. Never want to eat that anymore.

My conclusion on this restaurant is the foods are okay, except the fish and some that are already cooked such as dumplings, carrot cake, and some mixed vegetables. Mainly their seasoning are using black pepper. The drinks are okay. Love the green tea, but its just sweet and not like the normal green tea. I love the ice creams as I can try all the 6 flavours. hahaa 6 scoops of it on a bowl. Nice.

We ended up too full and very hard to breathe. The stomach has filled up to its max. To clear it up, we went out to take in some fresh air and walk around. hahaha Finally the stomach gets better, but I got stomach ache that night. hahha

Oh ya, there are Seoul Garden in Malaysia and Indonesia too, but its so weird that they placed it not in the capital city, instead in Malaysia, it is available only in Gurney Plaza, Penang and in Indonesia, it is available in Medan, hmm forgotten which plaza. :p

Additional thing I suggest to all of you (has nothing to do with Seoul Garden) is that never eat western food that is easternize. They just don’t taste like Western food anymore. Its just not suitable to be applied on western food. This is based on my experience twice with two different Easternize western food.

Have a nice weekend.

What you do to live happily? in Harmony and enough of needs? There are many ways to fulfil that.

Today I just felt like sharing one quotes with you all. The quote that I saw inside MRT on my way back today. Its an advertisement by Great Eastern for the financial planning. Got dragged into the meaning of the quote and think of it as a good one.

It says like this:

“To always have plenty, never leave the rice bin empty”

Meaning based on my perception, to live in moderate and happily, you gotta make sure that your savings are always kept filled and never empty. Something like that. True ar? What you think of it?

Mc. D in Malaysia has Prosperity Burger at every start of Chinese New Year season. They taste great. But they don’t have it here in Singapore. Instead, at Pizza Hut here, they have this Prosperity Pizza this year. Being curious of the taste, we went and give it a try. By looking at the picture and the description of the ingredients, you could have feel how nice it is. No? Surfnux is giving review on it with some comments from friends who experienced the pizza along.

It contains Sweet BBQ chicken slices (remember Bee Cheng Hiang? Yeah its their specialties), chicken floss with black and white sesame seeds. On the side is Parmesan Cheese sprinkled crispy crust.

How it taste? Sweet, indeed too sweet if you eat a lot. I think its because of the combination of the chicken slices which is very sweet, with additional sesame seed which make it even sweeter. After all, it doesn’t taste like pizza. It taste more towards the Bread Talk Chicken Floss bread.

Anyway, we ordered extra foods such as salad and pasta. They both taste great. This is my first time though eating at Singapore Pizza Hut. hoho Found they have wider range of menus and interesting foods. But the price? Expensive. Four of us orderred the promo set for 4-6 person, additional pasta and salad, cost around S$60. For this much in Malaysia, we could have pay for 8 person’s meal in Pizza Hut as well. Its like double the price there.

Argh… Its raining again. Why la? Every day from afternoon till evening, sometimes till night. Haihh… what on earth is happening here in Singapore? Can’t go out at all. Sigh… Plan to go for some tech shopping later on. Hopefully it will stop by 2. The rain is like a non-stop down pour and stays the same and not lesser at all.

Anyway, back to the main topic. Just watched The Dukes of Hazzard last night here on DVD. hooho Nice movie with hot chicks in it including Jessica Simpson. She is hottt…. fuuuufff fuufff… so hot. Plus its an adventure movie, with the Duke’s great car stunts. The stunts are cool and his driving technique is so great. Definitely a good one to catch. Don’t miss it. See the poster above, see one of the hot chick?

Why don’t you go to their official site and check them out.

Well, here I am back in Singapore now. Lots of stuffs to settle still. hohoho Last nite at the checkpoint, being held down awhile due to some visa extension problem. The custom was not sure of what to do, make me sit behind her while waiting for officer to come and bring me inside. While inside, they asked bit of questions, then its done. Chop. ohoho I was being looked by everyone, like I am a criminal. haha

Anyway, last Saturday, we went to One Utama for shopping and movie. Get a Topman Jeans and Volcom Stone Shorts for CNY. hahaha So we had dinner at Chili. This time I gonna check on their Awesome Blossom; hoping that they have it this time ‘cos its seasonal availability only. Surprisingly when I try to orderred it, they jot it down. Means yess… they have it this time. I was curious how nice it is. hahaha Later when it came, OMGGG.. what a big pile of spring onions. I saw I can’t finish it by my own. So, the four of us ate it little by little. Yet, we can’t finish it. We managed only to finish half of it. hahhaa Got picture of it, but still inside a friend’s handphone.

My comment on that is, Awesome Blossom is nice when we ate a little. If too much, it feels weird. Too much collosal onions. haha

In case you are wondering what are the ingredients, here is a recipe for you to check out. Not the originial Chili’s recipe though, its just something from the net.

1  prepared onion
