This post will be the mix of all my encountering from x’mas eve till New Year’s eve. Will be a long post. Its one of my long holiday for the year 2005. First I came down earlier before X’mas to hang out with classmates for a dinner and karaoke session. It was fun that night. Great time.
So, my holiday starts few days after. It starts at 22nd December 2005. I picked up my uncle and family at KLIA and brought them to Genting Highland. It was their first time here in Malaysia. They were amazed on how good this place is and hoping to come back again. :p After 2 nights in Genting, then we come down to KL for x’mas eve. We were staying at Bukit Bintang area. The X’mas eve was unbearable. It was horrifying. People were spraying foams along the street. The whole street became full of foam and smelled. I was meeting Cheok Yeen there for the countdown or something. So, rushed through my way and avoiding those zombie spraying foam all over. Then we changed our destination from Sungei Wang to Berjaya Times Square. In the end we ended up watching midnight movie at GSC Times Square to pass the time and escape from those zombies on the street.
We catched “Chinese Tall Story” starred by Nicholas Tse and Charlene Choi. It is a great movie to passed your time. Its funny and Charlene Choi is so cute and pretty. ohohohoho To know about the story, go here.
So, thats my X’mas eve experience. hohohoho Its raining almost the whole night.
Spent the next few days with my uncle and family around KL and Sunway Lagoon. Then got sun burn at Sunway Lagoon water park. But it was fun playing around with the kids. hohoho So, my uncle and family departed back to Jakarta on 27th evening after lunch together with me and dad. Then I follow dad back to Genting again. hahah But this time its not a great time as my dad caught a fever. The doctor there said it was viral fever and after two nights and two doctors from Genting, we rushed down to Malacca to look for my dad’s most trusted doctor at Mahkota Medical Center to get some med for his fever and cold. The doctor in Malacca said that it was some dengue virus. I was so sad when looking at my dad suffering the cold like that. Luckily after 2 days in Malacca, dad’s condition is getting better and he then can already go back to Indonesia.
Soon after my dad go back, I came back to Nilai with some friends and prepare to go to KL for New Year’s Eve celebration. We booked a room at Boulevard Hotel Mid Valley and spent our countdown at KLCC. It was a rush by KTM and LRT. We reached KLCC just at the time. Just when we walked out of the LRT station, few seconds after that the countdown starts and fireworks are fired to the sky. It was great seeing those fireworks. After that, we walked around the KLCC park and go back to the hotel. Just simple as that. Had supper at the mamak stall opposite of Mid Valley Megamall and back to hotel to sleep.
The first day of 2006 was spent going around Mid Valley doing window shopping and planning for Chinese New Year shopping. hahahhaha It was a great day with friends, just like the old days again, although not all friends are around. So, thats the end of my holiday. I gonna spend few more days here in Malaysia and go back to Singapore to continue my job hunt. Hopefully by the start of the new year, I can get a job.
