Big lotus is easier to learn, as it takes few steps only. But it requires 15 pieces of paper fold in such a way as shown in pictures below. Three of it to be sticked together, and so it makes 5 group of 3 folded paper. Tied with rubber band, shaped into star by bending it. Find alternate group and fold up the paper. For example, 3 from upper part, 2 from lower part. It makes 5 folds up. Then continue with the other alternate group on the top paper. So now left the two layer of paper. Do the same to the layer 2 with alternate fold up. For layer 3, fold half of it up, so it looks like a layer of the lotus. The outcome will be on the picture number 7,8 and 9.
