Hello folks, its been awhile since I blog something here. Been pretty busy here lately and facing lots of problems. So, couldn’t get myself a time to blog and finish uploading these pictures of foods I tried through out the weekend.
Its Ayam Bakar Ojolali - a newly opened Indonesian restaurant in Lucky Plaza, Singapore. Located at the third Storey. Actually not so newly opened, it was already opened for more than 1 month roughly.
Ojolali is Javanese words and it means don’t forget.
Had eaten there for more than 5 times now, and I found their foods are much nicer and better variety. It will be another new dining place for every Friday or weekend.
So, now in Lucky plaza there are already 4 Indonesian restaurants: Resto Surabaya @ Lvl 2, Ayam bakar Ojolali @ lvl 3, Ayam Penyet Ria @ lvl 4, and Kantin Aneka @ lvl 6. We always joke that we shall open one more Indonesian restaurant at level 5 or level 1, so each floor will have one Indonesian restaurant. But that is just a joke. The capital needed is really big.
Back to the food. The main menu is Barbeque Chicken Rice. Its not bad, just right and not too sweet.

And the side dishes of my favourites out of most Indonesian food is: Gado Gado which is a mixed vegetables with peanut sauce on top with some crackers.

Gado-Gado
And finally the favourite drinks of most Indonesian: Avocado Juice (Jus Alpukat)

The rest I have tried were Ojolali Fried Chicken, Nasi Gudek (Young jackfruit flesh and coconut milk stew served with boiled egg and choice of beef or chicken with steam rice), Bakmi Ayam (Chicken Noodle) and the drinks that is special: Es Ojolali (Sliced coconut with coconut water mixed with red syrup and nata de coco).
The pictures? See them all here.
Till the next food post… :p

ohoho Hi, thanks for dropping by. By the way, where is your location? These Indonesian food and drinks I covered were mostly in Singapore. And of course, the price are reasonable, but more expensive than in Indonesia.
