Feel like blogging another post for today. Been pretty bored lately, with nothing much to do. Today the sky has clear back just like last Friday or some Friday ago. Its sunny now. I had a chance to take a quick snap of the sky with silhouette effect right after continuous rain for two days last week.

Love it after it has stops raining and the sun is shining brightly again.

In few days time, we are about to enter the new year of 2007. This year has been really a big experience year for me with all changes in my life.

1. Graduated from my 3 years degree by the end of 2005
2. Found my first job on May 2005 (where I am now)
3. Started a new working life which is very hard to pass at first
4. Loose weight from 84 kg -> 78 kg and maintaining
5. Started to join gym officially for the first time
6. Had a change in eating habit and watch on the foods I take (not always)
7. Bought my first digital camera (Ixus 65) and first laptop / Macbook with own expense
8. Felt the hard time in making money to survive as well as for the future
9. First time celebrated Christmas in Singapore (coming year should have better plans)
10. Had gathered back few old friends whom are working in Singapore as well
11. Joined Indonesian Singapore blogger group
12. Learnt a lot about networking and has gained some experience
13. Started drinking protein shake
14. Joined body combat classes at gym and enjoying it till now and wanting more
15. Obsessed with Body Combat and body building to reach to the goal
16. I get to know how to configure router and switches (previously I don’t even know a shit about it)
17. Sleep early around 10pm and wake up early for work at 6.00am latest (sometimes late)
18. Has gone through 7 months of morning rush and journey of about one and a half hour to work with rides on LRT, MRT, bus and foot
19. Read Men’s Health regularly every month and still reading
20. Had grown elder by 1 year, making me 23 years old

I have changed and learnt a lot. Have to improve my self better in this coming new year of 2007 and the Chinese New Year of Boar/Pig which is my chinese Zodiac. Have to learn more stuffs, upgrade myself a certification, fix mistakes in the past, continue doing what I am already doing fine, loose more weight to reach the goal, perhaps takes on swimming again. And I shall start saving more again after loosing all the moneys buying gadgets. Till the new year then.

How does TGIF sounds in Indonesian language? After saying it out, it became this long: Terima Kasih Tuhan Hari ini Hari Jumat. From 4 words became 7 words. Can be even more. hohhoho

Sienz.. been raining again and again.

Yesterday skipped gym again and messed up my gym plan. Supposed to do a lower body exercise following the previous day upper body exercise, but hei… there is an Isetan Private sales….

So, I chose the sales instead. Worth the skip. Bought myself two Levi’s Jeans: 501 and 305-A and a G2000 shirt. Cost me Rp. 1,400,000 for all (SGD 240) :p

After the sales, went for my super late dinner at KFC and since its already late, I decided to take taxi instead. Took me 1 hour to get a taxi at that hours of the day as everyone has just finished with their shopping and rushing back home for rest. All taxis were mostly on call and I can’t even get a single empty taxi. Moved from Scotts, to Far East, back to Scotts, to Shaw hause, then to Wheelock, and finally decided to walk all the way 100m to the Cineleisure to get a taxi. Because I always like it that Cineleisure is the place where you can skip queue and get a taxi by the road side.

Worth exercising too walking around looking for taxi in a fast pace. Finally spotted a taxi dropping passengers and I got it at 11.30pm. I started waiting for taxi from 10.30pm. What an experience. So, for today, I gonna take MRT back instead. I believe its gonna be pack again due to Post-Christmas sales and stock clearance.

Well, tonight’s dinner should be The-Soup-Spoon if all agrees. Went and tried it on the 24th Dec after introduced by AuYong. It gives me feel of coming back for more. lol. Happy TGIF and Happy New Year 2007 again. :p

Lately there are lots of happenings around the world, flood in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia due to the continuous rain, earthquake in Taiwan, and then flood again since the rain came back again after 1-2 days of rest. Definitely not like a good year end. During Christmas eve, it was raining from afternoon till evening, and luckily at night it has stopped until the next day.

Read from the news this morning, due to the flood in some places in Malaysia, a lot of people have cancelled their holiday there. And I am doing the other way round instead. I will go down to Malacca instead on the 30th Dec to meet my mom and sisters. They wanted to have holiday there. I could have asked them to come to Singapore, but that will be a long journey for them. Unless my dad comes along, I guess they should have come to Singapore instead.

Just gotta hope that there will be lesser rain when approaching the end of the year. Heard that some places in Malacca get flooded again. I hope my journey there from Singapore will not be affected much.

I have hardtime to blog these two days, as access to my blog slowed down a lot. Can’t post any pictures yet. Just gotta hope the internet gotta be back to normal soon and they fix the broken cable capsules soon.

So, will be away with my Macbook and Ixus 65 for a little vacation up north to Malacca and KL. Better enjoy the foods and the break. Will be back to work again on Friday. And continue with gym routines from Saturday to burn off all the calories or fat I gathered up during the vacation. hahaha

Happy New Year 2007 and may when we reached this new year we all have a better life and better peace around the world.

HOHOHHO Christmas holiday has ended, and now back to work again before another long weekend for the New Year celebration.

For Christmas Eve, we had dinner at this Garuda Padang Cuisine (Nasi Padang Garuda) which has just opened few months ago here in Cairnhill Place (Orchard). They had their second branch just opened at Vivo City as well. Very classy and clean environment. I like it very much.

Garuda is a large mythical bird which is used as Indonesia’s national symbol. (see pic below)

The same meaning which is used in the national airlines company: Garuda Indonesia.

Garuda Padang Cuisine is famous in Medan and has opened few brances in Jakarta and Lampung if I was right. Continue reading »
