Thank God Its sooooo Friday because this weekend we will have a long weekend following the Christmas celebration. Some people might have applied for their 1 week long of leave and enjoy holiday some places.

Finally, the long awaited housing or we called it sleeve for my macbook has arrived. It came with customization option, which I used to change the color and the material it uses. But, the red is not as fury as what I ordered.

But, its okay, I still like it though. Still, I feel it only provides the protection from dust and dirt, but not from drop down as the padding is not thick or hard enough on the outer side. That is when comparing to Sumo Cases which is quite expensive too. Continue reading »

Its been awhile since I posted some food stuffs huh. Okay, its time to show off some nice food again. And they are new in town perhaps.

A new Indonesian Restaurant has openend again at Lucky Plaza 3rd Storey. Its called Warung Pojok (Corner Shops). The name really suits its location, as it almost located at one corner and the interior is really like a “warung”. Not sure the exact English word for it, but we refer it to a small eating place which serves simple foods and has the reasonable pricing which everyone can afford.

This Warung has just opened for about 2 weeks if I was not mistaken. Not much people yet visiting it as it may looked so simple, but indeed their food is nice.

First time there, tried their signature Chicken dish: Ayam Bacem (BBQ-ed Chicken with special secret spices). Nice. Love the soup served along, apart from its oily look. Not sure where that picture went. Never mind. This time, lets take a look at the Barbequed Banana with Cheese (Pisang Bakar Keju).

I ordered this for dessert, but ended up as my appetizer for dinner.

It has cheese on top, and chocolate sprinkles inside. Yummy… Hot hot hot and sweet. How much? SGD 1.50 for it. Considered expensive if you convert to Indonesian Rupiah which is about Rp. 8,700 which you can get a bowl of noodle. :p But since it is Singapore, okay LAH!

Rain

Rain can be nice when you are enjoying yourself at home watching tv, laying down lazily on the sofa
Rain can be very cooling, and that is a nice feeling
Rain clears up the polution, and the air becames fresh

BUT……

I hate rain when it has to rain on the time I have to go back from work
I hate rain when it is time for me to rush for class at gym
I hate rain when I wear my flip flops, as it will be slippery everywhere
I hate rain when it keeps on raining the whole day and at the time when people need to go outdoor
I hate rain as it slows down all transports
I hate rainy season!!!!

Worst rainy season is in Singapore. It can rain day and night non-stop for few days. That is what happenned last year. Perhaps this year will be the same again. Outdoor activities will faced a lot of cancellation, delay, postpone and all. Just like my jogging schedule last year.

I almost gave up going for the class today, but due to my determination, I give it a shot. I chased and raced myself out there to the gym and hoping I am able to join the class.

Lucky enough that my effort was not wasted. I arrived on the right time when people just entered the class room. So, I rushed for a quick change, filled up water, wear my sneakers, and just right when I entered the room, the first move gonna start. I was damn happy that I made it. And no thanks to the rain.

Today had a nice body combat class where everyone shouts around, making some echoes around the room. What a good spirit on rainy Monday evening post-work workout.

Then on the way back, almost slipped over due to my flip flops. Catched a bus, and heavily rain after that. Luckily at the time when the bus reaches the LRT station, the rain has lesser. And now it rains heavily again here. What a rain. Its like stop, rain, stop, rain, and all. And at the time I am writing this, it gets even heavier as if it understands what I am writing here ranting about it.

Okay lah, I think enough ranting. Hope tomorrow rain again. I shall get ready my umbrella now. Nite.
