Another experience on bus in Singapore. On my way back to Toa Payoh again just now, I sat at the front area. There weren’t many people inside the bus. After sat down for 1 mintutes, I heard some bad words from the back. I thought someone must been quarelling on the phone or what.
After awhile, that bad words keep on repeating and repeating. At times, it gets louder and keep on going continuously. Stopped for few seconds, and continue again. It keeps on the whole journey back.
I turned back and saw an old man sitting in the middle back seat. I suspected he is the one saying it out loud. So when reaching, I take a look further. It was him.
What he did?
He stand up, look at the ceiling and keep on saying: “Kan Ni Lau Bo Chao Chee Bye” (Fcuk your old wife’s smelly c*nt)
After awhile he will sit down. I can see the face of aunties and ladies around hearing this.
I myself felt annoyed by this. I feel like shouting back: Heyy Lam Pha, shut up lar!
But I was patience enough to keep quiet and try not to get dragged further. It is causing me more stress.
Finally I reached home. And again for the second night, there was a chinese opera at the ground floor, which disturbs a lot. So I have to shut the windows to prevent the sound from disturbing. Its scary at night when you hear those sounds. Damn.
Bout work, its getting more and more. Keeps on coming and I can’t finish my jobs on the day itself. I hope I could settle all of them within this week. Lots to catch up.
Hi folks, I am back to online world. It means I am back to Singapore and back to my daily routine of working and exercise. But, I came back with a change. A slight change and a total new experience during Chinese New Year.
The journey back was smooth, untill half way from JB, we got bad news from Indonesia. There were no electricity through out the town due to some electrical poles being stolen. This is terrible and out of expectation. So, each section of town will have only 2-4 hours of electricity supply every day. The rest of the hours will be darkness all over.
So, what a Chinese New Year without lighting and Chinese New Year songs? Totally no feel. This is what I met during the first day. Everyone prepared to purchase a gasoline or diesel generator. Luckily my dad has prepared it just when I reached. So, our gathering dinner was not filled with darkness.
Due to limitations, the generators could last for 4 hours and required inspections every 4 hours and a rest. Due to this, we had to switch it off when we were about to sleep. So, I had to sleep on the floor, half naked, without fan or even air conditioning. Its really painful for the backs and hot.
The morning on the first day of CNY, there were no electricity yet, and we switched on the generator a little bit later when the guests and family were about to come. The thing is, I woke up in darkness, listen to no Chinese New Year songs, and what I could hear was the Sunday class sounds on the Mosque behind.
Totally different from previous CNY where there will be CNY songs played, phone rings and phone calls were made to everywhere. This year is just so…. quiet.
So, the electricity was told to be restored only after 1 week. Luckily, on the third or fourth day of CNY, the electricity was restored back. And I could sleep peacefully with air con and on the bed of course. And its too late, as everyone was already back to work.
This year round, I only went out with friends on the first and second day. The third day everyone were back to their activities. Friends were lesser this year too. Lesser house that we have visited as well. And lesser visitors.
Every year, we celebrate Chinese New Year and every year there is a difference. Things changes, people changes, economy changes, and everything were affected through the changes. But, we shall be glad that we can still celebrate the Chinese New Year with joy and happiness. In which we shall wish that every year will be better for us and everyone. Hope to improve much better after a new year has come.
As usual, on the fifth and sixth day of CNY, there will be events on the temple in my hometown. It was not that great as before, as people earned less this year, meaning lesser sponsors and lesser money to organize a big event. This year around there were no lucky draws, no overseas singers and dancers. But, we have to be thankful that we can still have some entertainment.
Apart from these experiences, there was one thing that strikes me. I am attached again. Attached with someone whom I have known for quite sometimes, and hoping that we could be more than friends. And yes, we are more than friends now. Hope this relationship could last and we have chances to know each other more. It has become a long distance relationship due to different place of careers. Hope all the fears do not come true and we could get over it.
Its hard to start loving, and get separated quite a distance the moment it is getting serious. I just gotta pray more and learn to help myself to help each other to go through this. My heart has melted I could say. Its been awhile now. Its time to start all over again. Just like the video clips from Mayday that is shared by Mossie: 我又初戀了 (I am in first love again)
I kept on listening to this song over and over again. Its a nice song. Too bad she doesn’t have an internet connection at home, else I could share this with her.
Okay, enough about love. Lets get back to normal activities, prepare for certification, step up, and get fitter. Happy Chinese New Year again. This year, lets make it a better year for everyone. May all of us blessed with health, happiness and wealth. Kiong Hee Huat Chaiiii…
Kiong Hee Kiong Hee… an early Happy Chinese New Year wishes from me. Today is the best day ever. Why?
Its half-working-day and I am going back tonight to Malacca and to Indonesia tomorrow morning. Nice. Can’t wait to go back home. And TGIF!!
Had my hair cut yesterday at Shunji Matsuo’s Boutique saloon at Cairnhill Place. Nice environment, nice service, apart from the blurry cashier. She is slow and too kam cheong handling customers. I first waited for 10 minutes and no one entertain me, till I had to send an interrupt request to her that I had an appointment. Also, when paying, I still have to wait for about 10 minutes waiting for her to clear up her mind and decide which customer to served first. Happen that my queue was cut.
The hair cut turned out quite good and of course it is more expensive than Shunji Matsuo’s Icon at Wisma Atria. The basic cut by the hair stylist there will cost SGD 45. That is perhaps the cheapest there. Comparing to Icon which is only SGD 32. But thanks to the stylist who just moved there from Icon, that I was given 20% discount. But then, came to calculate it again, it is only 15% discount. As after the 20% discount, another 5% GST is added in.
Wonder whether I shall keep going back there or not, as it will cost me more now to have my hair cut. Its scarry to change hair stylist.
And as for Chinese New Year resolution, I am thinking of upgrading my gym membership to Platinum, so I can go for more clubs, and of course more body combat sessions. And I shall take back swimming once to twice a week.
And not forgetting to start studying for CCNA right after the Chinese New Year break. Must upgrade this time for sure. Limit is 2 months study, and by May I have to take the exam.
Kiong Hee Huat Chai… Gong Xi Fa Chai… Gong Hei Fat Choi… Selamat Tahun Baru Cina…
Wish you all happiness and a prosperous new year. Huat aaaarr….
When talking about network equipments testing, especially in Wireless products, we will often came to hear of Anechoic Chamber.
Anechoic Chamber is a room where there are no echoes and in Radio Frequency type of chamber, it is covered with radiation absorbent material. The signals does not bounced back in this room, and a device will receive the signal directly from the source.
