Awesome! I didn’t expect my post regarding EPEC (Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate) has got continuous comments and plenty of unique visitors. The comments has reached over 150 since I posted it in 1st July 2006. Is been more than a year. Thank you all for the contributions and sharing of information. Hope that particular post is helpful for everyone looking for job in Singapore.
Maybe we can share experiences and what options that you have in seeking employment in Singapore.
Option for stay while looking for job:
1. With Social Visit Pass (will expire within 14 days - 30 days)
2. With Long Term Social Visit Pass (Requires EPEC - need a few weeks processing time, subjected to approval)
3. Apply for Landed PR, but still need social visit pass to stay in Singapore (some fee applies, and you will possibly be converted to PR after you found a job)

Well, will try to see what more relevant information that will be helpful and I will update this post continuously.
Just had a thought to share yesterday:
Imagine if we all can just work with high pay, enjoy life and without having to care about what business you are going to start up in the coming years or when will u start to be a entrepreneur. But No way! If you want to live your life by just working for people and work for money, you will not get the great satisfaction and greater life which entrepreneurship will have.
I wish I could just relax, work, earn money, spend money and live this life without bothering much. One has to work hard and one’s mind have to keep on work hard to achieve the greatest. ~ surfnux
Update:
How to go around? You won’t get lost in Singapore if you use StreetDirectory.
Go to www.streetdirectory.com to search for routes, MRT and Bus routes to your destination and to look for the location of places.
You might need to purchase EzLink card for easy travel around Singapore with Buses and MRT. Can be purchased from most MRT stations control tower.
