New indulgence in hawker food in Singapore. Found this at Food Republic Suntec Convention center. And just found out it is also available at Food Republic Vivo City.
My favourite is Thunder Tea Brown Rice.
I have had this for the third time, and only took this picture on my third. Its hard to find hawker centers selling brown rice for a healthier option lately, but thanks to this Thunder Tea Rice shop.

Franchising and Licensing Asia 2007 is an exibition on Franchising and Licensing businesses and concepts across Asia region. As quoted from the description of the event: “The International Event for Entrepreneurship, Business Opportunities & Intellectual Property Rights in Asia.” Held from 20-22 September 2007. So, its already ended last Saturday. Some write ups on this event below.
It is meant for entrepreneurs, new comers who are looking for business opportunities, or existing players in the industries and anyone who are intersted.
Acting as a new comer, I visited this event on the day I am free. Its free admittance, but with registration of course.

Earlier this month, I bought a nother laptop from Compaq. The v3000 series with AMD turion 64 x2 based laptop. Managed to get it in a reasonable price at SGD 1250 with 3 years warranty.
The lack in this price is, there is no bag provided. Because we omit all those lousy free goodies and replaced with the extra 2 years warranty coverage.
Next I have to start aiming and looking for a nice laptop bag. First thought was Targus, but none suits my taste and mostly are expensive. Perhaps I have not checked on the wider range.
Finally, I came across Crumpler. Saw this Crumpler Skivvy which only cost about SGD 93. With Apple Centre Orchard’s membership card, you can get extra 10% discount from the list price. It fits nicely a 14″ laptop (for Skivvy Medium). Nice design and I chose Red color. Why? Because its not for me. Its for my sister.

Something to share…..
It all boils down to security at the end of the day. And it’s not about how many pair of shoes you buy for them, those have no long term value.
What really make them secure is not the money in your bank account. It’s the money you put into THEIR account, the number of your shops and houses under THEIR name. Even your insurance that is under THEIR name.
Furthermore, they may go one step further in helping you to secure your position in your parent family. So that you may inherit more in the future and thus benefit THEM indirectly.
A woman can tell you she is not money minded, not materialistic blah blah blah. But the moment you get her a diamond, or transfer a property under her name, she will probably do anything for you.
To them, whatever money that you earn is theirs. It pains them if you spend THEIR money on your own gagdet. It doesn’t matter if they are also working and have an income well more than yours. Your money is still THEIRS.
If you are managing your own money, you are actually managing THEIR money. Of course they have the right to THEIR OWN money!
If you have children, ALL YOUR MONEY is belong to them and the kids for their future in case you DIE!
This is the parasitic nature in them and they don’t even realise it.
However, some women are not like this.
Yeah, not all women are like that. The most important thing is fairness and equity. Mutual agreement between two instances, and feeling of trust and equal will be the answer. Men can be lousy at management, can be easily influenced at times, but not all men are always like that. What’s the meaning of being together with two different personalities: man and woman. Being together means ONE - that is one personality from union of both. That’s what we called “Couple”.
