Carl’s Jr. has been one known burger franchise restaurant that has huge size of burgers and various choices. As quoted from the AboutUs of Carl’s Jr. web, it is told that: “Carl’s Jr. has long been known as the place to go for juicy, premium quality charbroiled burgers in the western United States”. So, you’ll know what to look out for. The other day while deciding on where to eat for dinner prior to late workout, apart from having my regular Subway, I decided to check out Carls Jr. again. This is my second time there. To cut the calories and fat intake low, I ordered for sandwich only.

Well, it cost more than any other normal burgers in Mc. D and KFC or Burger King. There are many choices, and I go for this seems to be best choice for pre-workout meal: Charboiled BBQ Chicken which consists of Charbroiled Chicken Breast, crisp lettuce, tomato and tangy BBQ sauce on a honey wheat bun. First time having burger served in wheat bun.
Taste wise, hmmm it is nice and the chicken is just so great. The sauce is not that salty or sweet, which is just nice and all taste perfect. Although there are only little bit of vegetables. The other option I was looking for was actually the Charboiled Chicken Salad which looked nice too.
Price wise, expect to pay minimum of 6-7 SGD for sandwich only. For a set meal, it might cost around SGD 10 or higher, which I would advise you to opt out if you are on a diet. Well, perhaps once in awhile you can break it, but not always. And pay it off with a harder or longer hour of workout afterwards. Breaking the rules is always fun with this method. Ain’t it?
