Okay, its March 1st, 22 more days till the release of Body Combat 35 in Singapore. As some parts of the world has already teaching it for few weeks already, we are still waiting for it and getting our fitness level to the tip top condition before the day.
This time around, the release is held at Paragon’s Fitness First Singapore. Body Combat will be the first one for the day at 10.30 am, and featuring Kee Leong and Calvin. Theme will be Angels and Devils. Nice combination. Update: It will be now combination of Kee Leong and Julian. Some changes.
Just a short review on this new release:
-
- Upper body warm up, consists of all the moves shuffle, crunches, khata, uppercut and hook. Nice song for the start up. You all can sing along right from the start.
- Lower body warm up starts with scissors, knee, sidekick left and right, front kick for both legs, and finally the round house left and right. Tick tick tick tick and roundhouse Yeaaahhh! Nice ending
- Combat 1 starts with khata, block punch and roundhouse knee. double elbow, and double ascending elbow. And follows by roundhouse kick combo with it. And here comes again the first combination and this time added on the roundhouse knee with sidekick. Remember the magic number 4. This is the longest track in the history of Body Combat - 7 minutes and 11 seconds. Get ready for the adrenaline rush.
- Power Training 1 consists of jab cross, hooks, two uppercut on each side one by one at the start and combined altogether later on.
- Combat 2 is all about step kick with double jab knife. And later on, here comes the hardest part the roundhouse challenge - 24 roundhouse with tapping in between. WOWWW! I love this track.
- Power Training 2 featuring a song from the movie Hair Spray. A fun track I can say. Full of hand movements. Loving it.
- Combat 3 with Ginga with back knee and kick. Capoeira…. rox!!! Leg shaping track definitely. Work it harder with the cat stand with front kick and lunges.
- Muay Thai comes with descending elbows and knees. Comes on clinch, the back knee and elbows. Never Surrender.. yeah!
- Power Training 3 has all the intense hand movements. As always, the peak of the combat.
- Conditioning this time consists of chests and abdominal. Sixteen wide-hand push ups challenge. The same to the abdominal as well.
- Cool Down songs: No One by Alicia Keys. Stretches of the major muscle groups and some khata.
So, out of all, Body Combat 35 has all the great songs in it and great moves. Definitely good to work it all hard.
Happy Combating!
