Step Up 2 The Streets, a very good movie with full of awesome dancing moves. Its all about hip hop and R&B.

The story revolve around the life of a girl who is looking for a place in the community where she can feels like in a family. She joined a street dancer group 401 and skipped school most of the time. Until her mom’s friend whose home she resides on now, decided to send her to Texas following her activities daily.

Her brother managed to persuade the aunt to give her another chance by signing her up in an audition to enter one of the famous school in town. From there on, her life starts to change slowly and she finally found her way in her heart and how to live better with a group of friends and get acknowledge for what she interested in.

You will be amazed at how good their dance moves are and the effects created in this movie. Musics are really nice and entertaining.

It was so good that after watching this movie, you will feel like doing Body Jam class now or go for clubbing. :p Anyway, clubbing is on tonight. Will be the last one in Singapore before I go back to Indonesia for good. :)

Last weekend we had a small gathering dinner with a friend from Indonesia who came to Singapore on monthly basis. :P We go around doing window shopping, and crashed on this restaurant to fill up the fuel again: Spageddies @ Paragon - Orchard Road, Singapore.

Spageddies served mainly Italian cuisine, oh well.. from the name itself you shall know already what its all about ain’t ya?

This will be my second time there and I would find their foods are fine. Still prefer Chili’s though. Anyway, on weekends or even weekdays, particularly during dinner time, this restaurant will be filled with a long queue outside of it. Lucky for us that weekend as we head on earlier than the normal dinner time.

Some foods we had:

Primo Combo - A triple treat of calamari, mozzarella and soft shell crab served with homemade tartar and neapolitan sauce for dipping.

One of the normal tradition of us Asian people during breakfast and tea time is to drop by coffee stall or shop to have a cuppa with toast bread, or some other meals. The most common and easiest is Toast bread.

Like in Indonesia, we will have a cup of coffee, two half boiled eggs and a meal, like lontong, fried noodle, kwaytiaw or bee hoon or anything else.

Eversince the first time I step my foot in Singapore, the breakfast habit has been changed. Bread for everyday’s breakfast. I will drink coffee, milk, have some wholemeal bread and fruit if I have. :)

One of the nice coffee stall and the famous one in Singapore is Ya Kun Kaya Toast Coffee Stall. It is located almost everywhere in Singapore, near offices, shopping malls and housing areas.

The most common set meal that I always have is two slices of kaya butter bread, two half boiled eggs and a cup of coffee. Perfect and nutritious breakfast. :)

One more nice and decent fast food restaurant in Singapore that I love to visit occasionally - Yoshinoya. Its famous for their Japanese rice menus with ranges from chicken, beef, pork, prawn and salmon. What I like is they have quite a good range of combos to choose from just when you can’t decide to have which and wanted to try or have more than one type of meats.

I like very much the lightings and interior of Yoshinoya’s restaurant and it has the cleanest look. The orange theme suits the most. Price range around SGD 5-10 for a bowl of rice and more for the set meal. I paid about SGD 11 for this meal with a drink. Continue reading »
