Okay folks, lets get this started. I will start to blog about all the Indonesian foods that I had tried for the past 1 month, mostly in Pekanbaru. Thanks to all the friends who brought me around for these yummilicious foods. 
First, I will show you the Gulai Bauang. It is pronounced as gu-lai ba-ung. Bauang is a name of a fish. Not really sure what it is called in English. It is either fried and add on with chili, or cooked in curry. It was superb and I had two bowls of rice with it. “Gulai” in Indonesian language means curry. So Gulai Buang is Bauang fish in Curry.

The curry gravy is so nice and the fish is soft and sweet.
Melinjo (Emping) Crackers in Curry
Melinjo Crackers is very famous in Indonesia and quite expensive compare to other types of crackers. It is normally deep fried and added on with some salt. For this, we add on curry.

The Restaurant
This restaurant is in a small shop lot. It might seems dirty everywhere, but the foods are nice. That is typical here. I bet some of us who used to a clean life like in Singapore would not dare to eat there.
