Another great food from Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Seriously, I haven’t been eating pork outside of my home in Indonesia, apart from the fried kway tiaw from the only coffee shop that is selling non-halal food.
This is the first BBQ pork restaurant, or can we call it a home-restaurant, that I have ever been in Indonesia. Located in some small road, exactly in a house of the owner. The person who brought me there, mind to share the address?

The meaty pork, with less fat and skin

The onion, lime and green chili, which were to be mixed together with few drops of dark soy sauce. This is the seasoning.

At first, we ordered the pork with mainly meat only, as for the healthier choice. But after eating it, feel not syok (satisfied) enough. Thus, we ordered the skin and fatty part again. And they really roxx… only that it contains lots lots lots of fat. But nice.

Apparently, this BBQ pork is not sold by Chinese ethnics, but by the Batak race in Indonesia. They are mostly Christian and thus Pork is fine for them.
Life still not smooth enough, but I am trying my best. I would target myself to get it all done by early June. Hope everything works out from here onwards and I could find the dream I have been wanting to have.

itu babi hutan yg kai makan tu. biasa mereka buru di hutan punya. kadang takutnya babi tu ke makan racun mati. ….. makanya jarang mo makan gw. hahahahaha…
soalnya gw ada tebar racun babi di sekitar kebun. hahahahhahaha…
