Es Campur in Indonesia is similar to ABC (Air Batu Campur) in Malaysia and Singapore. Only that it has more ingredients like jack fruit, jelly, grass jelly, syrup, milk, cendol, tapai, and all the other ingredients that I don’t really know what they called. 
Its nice to be consumed on the mid day, especially if the day is super hot. Ice water or some ice desserts like this is what we normally enjoy to freshen up due to living in such a hot city. There weren’t much trees around, weren’t much plants along the road, and most of the forests has been converted to palm plantation, or housing areas.
Living in Dumai especially, I resorts on fans, air conditioners, ice and cold desserts, if possible go out with car all the time, and stay at home if no business outside.
