Not long ago, in Ciputra Mall, opened the first franchised coffee shop in, that is Gloria Jeans Coffee. Yeah… finally there is some place to hang out or enjoy coffee nicely on, apart from kopitiam.
Another nearest source of Latte for me. 
But of course have to travel 20 minutes by plane or 4.5 hours by car. With this, I already felt like moving to Pekanbaru permanently. As if my dad had bought a house there sometimes ago, I could have already moved there and start up my business there. hehee
Anyway, since it is newly opened, after sitting down there for awhile, the owner instructed the baristas to prepare the cake to be served to the customers for appreciation. I overheard the conversation and no one believes in the first place, but it does really.
One thing is the steamed milk is not steamed enough, that after stirring the latte or cappuccino, the foamy milk gone straight. Not nice to enjoy a cup of Cappuccino or latte without the foamy milk isn’t it?
The seatings are nice, full of sofas, but less food still. I miss Gloria Jeans in Singapore. Although I only tried them for a few times, but they do served more varieties of foods and mixtures for the drinks.
Okay, this is a must go place when I drop by Pekanbaru again. I miss hanging out in a cafe already. Which we normally did every Friday or Saturday nite, or Sunday evening while in Singapore.
