Ayam Bakar Selegie is another Indonesian restaurant that is operating in Singapore. It has been there for quite sometimes, more or less about half a year. We came to know this from another Indonesian restaurant’s owner sometimes ago, and just not long before I left singapore, we arrange a time to drop by to check it out.
It was located at Paradiz Center. The nearest MRT is Dhoby Ghaut station, walk to The Cathay, and take the sidewalk all the way to Paradiz Center.
The restaurant design is simple enough, and standard seating availability.
Just like the other normal BBQ chicken restaurant, Ayam Bakar Selegie served no differences than the other. They taste not bad, but the location might be not that convenient to everyone. As most of us know, Lucky plaza is the center. Any new Indonesian restaurant that opened in Lucky Plaza, everyone shall get to know very soon and might come back from time to time as it is in the center.
For the start, we ordered the BBQ chicken, which comes with vegetables, beancurd and fermented bean. The sambal is nice, and taste just like others. Well, there might be slight difference in taste.
And another dish that we ordered is Soto Ayam. Not that good though, but just fine.
This place not only far, but the Paradiz Center itself is like going to get expired soon. The scary toilet, unmanaged building with lots of empty shops, and many more.
Way to go….
