Les Mills Body Combat 36 Hands On Photoblog: Random Shots of Pekanbaru Town

Few weeks back while I am in Jakarta for one week visit, I dropped by J.CO Donuts & Coffee plenty of times, and one of it was at Mall Taman Anggrek which is located at Jalan S. Parman.

Almost every mall in Jakarta has J.CO Donuts & Coffee now. It seems to be like how Starbucks is available in every single Mall or Shopping Arcade.

It was right on tea time, that I decided to drop by and check out for any new Donuts from J.CO. Happen to be more than one new donuts, so I ordered half dozen and a cup of Cafe Americano which is a good combination for donuts. Why is that so? Because the bitter taste of Americano and its low calorie content, balances up fairly with sweet donuts taste. :)

Okay, back to the new donuts, the new flavors are Da Vin Cheez, Golden Ring, Hazel Dazzle, Monapisa and O’Kaya. With the latest addition to be Da Vin Cheez.

The box I got from my order has a message: “Cherish the garlic fantasy of Da Vin Cheez and the rosy beauty of Mona Pisa. Let’s share J.CO’s glorious work of art.”

Da Vin Cheez got my best choice between the rest of the new one. With its thick cheese taste, some extra seasoning that includes garlic, and just taste almost like the KFC Cheesy Fries in Singapore. (Note: KFC Cheesy Fries in Singapore and Malaysia are different).

Golden Ring has a taste of caramel with vanilla cream on the inside. It is great for caramel lovers.

As for MonaPisa, it taste like pizza, with sausage bits on top. Not really into my taste bud.

Hazel Dazzle, has a thick chocolate topping with a spread of hazelnuts on top. Its one wonderful mixture.

And lastly, O’Kaya which might seems to be not the new flavor, but I just give it a go as I never had the chance to get to this particular one. It has Pandan Kaya fillings and covered with coconut on the outer layer. I definitely love this one as well.

So, these are the new one in Indonesia. The few that I have seen in Singapore, could be the Hazel Dazzle only so far. And I love the J.CO Donuts & Coffee at Bugis Junction Singapore. It is much spacious and much convenient for hanging out. Lesser noise, and only thing bad is that it is right below the escalator and near to the toilet.

Hopefully the next J.CO Donuts & Coffee branch in Singapore shall be as big and located just like Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Right on the Ground level, and at the front corner or side of a building.

Keep on J.COing people. :)

When talking about donuts, I would like those tasted sweet, not those salty one with meat and cheese. Anyway, those new flavors looked tempting. And one more question, does J.CO and Big Apple under a same company? Most of the time these 2 donuts seller will confusing the customers.

    Hi HyperX,

Yeah, sweet one nice, that’s y the Mona Pisa got my lowest choice. Big Apple and J.CO are not the same company and Big Apple seems to be replicating J.CO in term of donuts flavor, box design, cafe design and almost everything looked similar. J.CO Donuts & Coffee is an Indonesia originated company and has been around for quite sometimes. You can check my post on J.CO Donuts & Coffee History.
