Acer Aspire 4935 Review
After upgrading their Aspire 4900 series from 4920 to 4930, now Acer has come out with their newer series classified under 4935 series with wider screen display (16:9 ratio)

The Specs has not change much, which features Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz T6400, 1GB DDR2 RAM, DVD-RW DL, Crystal Eye Webcam, Card Reader, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/N and of course with higher harddisk capacity of 250GB.

For the widescreen feature at 16:9 ratio, this machine will be nice for movie screening and entertainment.

For the speaker, it is loaded with Dolby Home Theater sound, which is definitely much better than the normal one.

As for the look and design, this can be a nice notebook for entertainment and work with a great price.

have purchased an Acer 4736a fortnight ago.Overall a good laptop at a very reasonable price.Preinstalled Vista home premium,bluetooth,Wifi,6 cell battery which gives 5 hr plus life after using acer extended battery life software. Not for gaming but good for office & home use.The speaker volume is very low but I any keep the vol.to 0 .better than the Sony,Toshiba expensive laptops with lower specs.

i got purchase….aspire 4935…with 320gb n 3 gb ram…4 to month its working good…later then it s get hang…my hp does not have any virus…coz im using kaspersky complete protection…

How do you define hang man? When you say hang, there can be many meaning. And even if you are equipped with 100$ Anti Virus, it won’t guarantee you are free from viruses, worms, or malware. Hang if its too hot, hang when running applications, hang when switching applications, and does it hang forever? Windows Vista? Most likely it is related to your Windows.
Did you do disk cleanup from time to time? Disk defragmenter as well? For any notebooks or PC running Windows Vista especially, you will need extra maintenance with these two apps. Just my two cents. The rest, is on your own.

I have my own aspire 4935G, i bought it last august and recenlty i’m encoutering problem with my webcam…its not working anymore..when i used my wecam thru YM it will respond like this “Sorry, no Webcam was found on your system” ..Can you give me an advise on how to fixed my webcam…
December 13th, 2009 at 9:21 am
Try to re-install your webcam driver. And try to run the camera first using the Acer Crystal Eye webcam utility before. Because, it might be due to the YM’s error or something else. trial and error would be the best way.

hi there. I want to upgrade the RAM with the same frequency for this kind of notebook. But I can’t get any information about the RAM frequency. Could someone give me any idea? thanks.
February 3rd, 2010 at 3:07 pm
ricky: It should be DDR2 667 / PC5300 most of the time. And for newer models, they already come with DDR2 800 / PC6400. Since you are upgrading, why don’t you open up the back cover that has the RAM in it, and check on the label? Best you can bring your notebook to the nearest computer store to let them help you upgrade.

i have dis acer 4935..my question is,is dis kind of laptop can support computer game like CALL OF DUTY(MODERM WAREFARE2)
February 24th, 2010 at 10:25 am
perhaps it can, cos I seldom play PC games. So, I am not sure how heavy the games nowadays. But of course they all can play, but in low graphics settings for some. Please check on the Game’s requirements. Most games has stated their system requirements.
