Okay, continue from the Malacca trip post. Today I will talk about the Teo Chew Bak Kut Teh which I favour in Malacca. Its been our regular bak kut teh restaurant everytime we dropped by Malacca. Its just at the opposite of the hotel that my family used to stay while in Malacca. Very convenient and price wise is okay. Wanna know where it is? Its in front of Comfort Hotel. Dunno what is the exact road name though, but I remember it is Jalan Melaka Raya 10 maybe. Will confirm that again later. Very near to Mahkota Parade. Within walking distance.
So, I had this great bak kut teh for my brunch on Sunday morning. Enjoyed it very much. It taste nice, ingredients I love it. Love the yam rice too. Had two bowls of it. and of course with lots of garlic. Found out that they are selling the bak kut teh powder now. So, I bought one packet to try.
Check out the pictures from Bak Kut teh below at the gallery. Click on the picture to go to the gallery.
On the Saturday night, after a movie “Click”, we decided to go for supper at Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup which is located at Jalan Ong Kim Wee near the central of Malacca. It costs RM 0.50 per stick. It is one of the famous one in Malacca apart from the other one named Capitol Satay somewhere near the Red House area. I prefer this one as it is more spicy and fresh.
I had 20 sticks of satay and a glass of chinese tea. Yummy… I am getting bigger tummy again now. hahaha Supper is bad. So, went back to hotel after supper and sleep. hoho Pictures of Satay celup can be seen at the same album above too. Click on the Bak Kut Teh picture above to see it all.
To be continue…

Well, here I am back in Singapore now. Lots of stuffs to settle still. hohoho Last nite at the checkpoint, being held down awhile due to some visa extension problem. The custom was not sure of what to do, make me sit behind her while waiting for officer to come and bring me inside. While inside, they asked bit of questions, then its done. Chop. ohoho I was being looked by everyone, like I am a criminal. haha
Anyway, last Saturday, we went to One Utama for shopping and movie. Get a Topman Jeans and Volcom Stone Shorts for CNY. hahaha So we had dinner at Chili. This time I gonna check on their Awesome Blossom; hoping that they have it this time ‘cos its seasonal availability only. Surprisingly when I try to orderred it, they jot it down. Means yess… they have it this time. I was curious how nice it is. hahaha Later when it came, OMGGG.. what a big pile of spring onions. I saw I can’t finish it by my own. So, the four of us ate it little by little. Yet, we can’t finish it. We managed only to finish half of it. hahhaa Got picture of it, but still inside a friend’s handphone.
My comment on that is, Awesome Blossom is nice when we ate a little. If too much, it feels weird. Too much collosal onions. haha
In case you are wondering what are the ingredients, here is a recipe for you to check out. Not the originial Chili’s recipe though, its just something from the net.
1 prepared onion
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons mccormick seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup buttermilk

Yooo…how’s your Monday everybody? The Monday morning was marked with cloudy day. I stayed overnight at a friend’s house and also my used-to-be accomodation last time when I studied in HELP Institute (Currently known as HELP University College). It is nice remembering back all the funs I have in that condominium and around the Pusat Bandar Damansara.

The night I was talking about Subway and we decided to have it for lunch this morning. As many people said, Subway provides healthy diet food. So far I have tried twice, inclusive of today’s. Subway is kinda rare in Malaysia, compare to the fast food like Mc. D. So far I have only met three. One in Pusat Bandar Damansara, One Utama new wing and the other one near the Bintang Walk (which already closed down).

After dinner, went to pasar malam and bought some tropical fruit that we have been thinking of eating it for long time. haha Guess what? Its Duriannnnn…. We gonna have Durian Feast. Besides that, we also bought some Duku Langsat. Didn’t know exactly what is the name in English. Anyway, the durian was great and having a great taste. The bitter and sweet taste with the yellow flesh. Yummmy… Its cost RM 3 per Kg. Quite cheap for this high quality one. The seed is so small for some and make u feel like when eating Thai’s Durian. hoho Four of us ate five of it and our stomach was filled up to the top. haha Everyone’s stomach is so hard now. Check out the pictures we took:

The Duku Langsat was so watery and sweet. Not like the others that I have tried. This time it is satisfying. :p Remember to drink a lot of water ya after eating the tropical fruit, especially the “Durian” keke.
As you can see in the first picture, we used the durian skin or what it called, and fill it with water for drinking. It is believed that by drinking through its skin, it provides cooling sensation to the body and so the body will not caught heat so easily.

Just had a steamboat dinner with some Sunway friends here at Talipon Restaurant. What a unique name. It is located just at the opposite of the Kelana Jaya Putra LRT station. It has few branches as I what I see on the receipt. They are available in Kuchai Lama, Tman Muda, Pandan Perdana and Setapak as well. But I am not sure where these places are. Anyway, the steamboat is around RM 18 per person and you can eat all you can. There are seafood like lala, stingray, various meats, vegetables, meatball, fishball, and so on. The nice thing about this steamboat restaurant is that it is not only let you enjoy the food steamed, but also bbq-ed on the hot plate. So, we did the bbq with the butter provided and enjoy the food so much till full. hahah Its been long time eating this much. Enjoyed it to the max.
For desserts, they have ice cream, fruits and some sweet and sour plums or dried fruits. The ice cream of the day is Cone Durian Ice Cream. I did not tried it though as I was too full. Just don’t feel like torturing this stomach too much. hehe Later it expands again, then I will look horrible. Anyway, couldn’t get any picture of the place as my phone camera is too lousy to capture night scene. hoho If you would like to try it out, just check out the Kelana Jaya LRT station, the opposite of it, beside the Buddhist Society (forgot the exact name) building.
