Since the opening of the first J.CO Donuts & Coffee in Singapore, I have been there for a drink with friends for three times in two weeks period. First visit has the drinks served quite slow and found that the drinks are too sweet. The baristas have better learn to mix the drinks in balance. And had the experience of being ignored by the busy baristas and the cashier who were busy preparing the drinks. This is because I was let standing without being attended for more than 5 minutes in front of the counter while wanted to order for drinks.
So, well, okay! Its just opened and they are not used to it and not fully trained yet or can be said not that skillful yet.
I went back for more the following week, with some friend and this time around, there is a cashier standing by and they are happily taking my order. Well, at least not letting me to wait too long. After orders were taken, we go and have a sit. Chit chatting and realizing it has been sometimes, where are our drinks, are they ready? Because I just ordered a very simple drink - Camomile Tea; which only require them to put the tea bag and pour some hot water into the cup and voila. So, three of us who went to order drinks separately in three receipts, still have not gotten our drinks or even got called.

Resto Surabaya has been around for quite sometimes and now they have opened their second branch in Singapore at Far East Plaza. It has grown into a franchise business, with branches in Medan and Batam; apart from the Singapore’s branch.

Ayam Kremes with Nasi Uduk
We have been eating at Resto Surabaya for such a long time and been a loyal customer and have had few birthday parties there as well. We started eating there ever since it was open and have received good welcome by the owner himself by providing us some VIP / discount card since then till now. It was a good place with good service. And I have also brought few Malaysian friends over to try, and it has all good feedback on the taste and quality of the food. So, there is no mistake that we choose this over all.

Nasi Uduk a.k.a. Fragrant Rice

Finally I have the chance to visit Singapore’s J.CO Donuts and Coffee branch. The first branch in Singapore which is at Raffles City shopping mall. Took few pictures of it, have a cuppa there and take away half dozen of donuts.
Donuts taste similar, although it might seems a little messy as some staffs are not highly skilled yet. Even I found the baristas to be very slow and they can’t do multitasking. Got me standing in front of the cashier for few minutes until they do bother taking orders.

I have created a new sub-category under Singapore’s F&B, which is IndoFood. It has all the posts on Indonesian food and beverages in Singapore. After checking them out, only to realize that I have not added any pictures or food review from Resto Surabaya. Will do some soon, together with J.CO Donuts and Coffee in Singapore.
As for now, here are quick classification based on the restaurant:

Just as of today, I received an additional discount or privilege card from an Indonesian restaurant in Singapore. It makes it now three cards among the Indonesian restaurants.
