Yuhuuuu…. after waiting for months reading about MSI Wind U100 through Engadget.com, finally I’ve been able to reach my hand onto it and have a closer look at it. And this is not the usual one, but the Limited Edition MSI Wind U100. Yeahh!!!

Well, this netbook is not for me though. :) Its for sale on my new coming computer shop. Just love looking at these cool netbooks. The box itself is so small, even just look like a DVD-ROM’s box. It came with free pouch, which I do not show it here. Nothing special for that.

Hello folks… sorry for not being active for the past few days. Been busy with business preparation as it is very near now. And my internet bandwidth is at critical state with only 60 MB left up till today. I am trying to minimize the usage up to 30 MB per day to stay with the limit. Maybe I shall reduce more now.

This weekend started quite nice with rainy day, and very cooling weather all day long. Only the electricity is causing such uncomfortable experience. Really hate it. Anyway, took a picture of sunset in this Dumai city sometimes ago. The picture is taken from the back balcony of my house. Just a great place for me to do my personal exercise and body combat. Only no air conditioning.

Isn’t it nice if you could spend every evening sitting comfortably at the balcony of your house, enjoying the sky view and the sunset view. :) Happy weekend everyone and I shall try my best to post more food pictures soon. Definitely I have to do something about this internet connection. Either switching to a wireless ISP, or just bear with it and wait for 3G to be in town (but that wouldn’t be so fast). Telkomsel!! You gotta push this 3G implementation faster.

What is wrong with the Electricity Supply in this country? It has been forever that there is a black-out in certain area based on schedule. For the month of July itself, it is stated on the news that there will be scheduled black-out for 3 hours everyday with different timing for different area. It can be early in the morning, late at night when you are having your sound sleep, in the afternoon, when you are working, when you are showering, anytime they decided. The reason is simply because there are technical problems with their lousy machines/generator in some cities. So, what’s with it? Why can’t they get it repaired or get a new one as soon as possible?

Now its already August, and the news last month only said it will last till end of July. And there are still black-out up till today. What I hate the most is when I am working on my Mac, discussing business with distributors, or doing something else that needs electricity, and out of sudden, it get cut off just because of the black-out. And another time when I was sleeping soundly with Air Conditioner of course, and right at 2.00am after midnight, the electricity cut off again for 3 hours. What the hell?

People here rely a lot on privately owned generator ever since this tradition. I remember it has been gone for sometimes, and now it is back again with same reason of generators are faulty and under repair. There was once during Chinese New Year that has total black out for 12 hours everyday, or more just because their electric pole was stolen somewhere in the forest.

Not only in Riau, or Sumatra this happen. It happens countrywide. Even in Java Island. Factories have to close their operation on day time since there is no electricity and the operation shifted to evening. Some occurred many losses.

What worst, when you are shopping in a Mall, or having dinner somewhere in restaurant or Mall, and out of sudden the electricity went down. And all the systems were off, and you can’t checkout your shopping stuffs, you can’t order your food, you can’t enjoy your food conveniently. This has happen in July. There is definitely a need to reconstruct the PLN, or if they really can’t maintain a good quality of service, lease it off to private companies or investors. How people are going to invest in your country if there are constant electricity problem?

About one more week from now, Indonesia will reach its Independence Day celebration, and it has already been 63 years. It has been very long, and still this small problem remain unsolved.

I better invest on a UPS device for data and operational protection.
