Sometimes ago, right during the month of August, probably some parts of the neighboring country is having haze attack from Indonesia, which is always happen every year due to forrest burning. But, nevertheless, my town itself which is located on the middle east of Sumatra, got the haze attacking almost everyday, be it morning or at night.
The reason is, there are a lot of palm oil plantation nearby, and people are opening new sites every now and then. Last year’s was worst, this year it is lesser.
Just some shots of the town when the haze was at worst level. When thinking about this haze period, I came to think of our time in INTI Subang at that time. While waiting for the bus back to INTI Nilai, we couldn’t stand the haze, then went and bought the cheapest mask available, wore it and take some pictures right on the INTI Subang entrance. LOL. And guess what, we add on some smoke to the haze.
The rest was history.
Additional post that is out of this topic, I’ve been getting really busy slowly lately and preparing for the grand opening of Maestro Komputer. And still waiting for the Body Combat 37’s music and video. Couldn’t get a hold on it yet, thus can’t make a review. Hikzz.. bandwidth just never enough. Okay, till the next post.

SilverQueen has been one common chocolate bar in Indonesia that almost everyone have had it since young. Their motto is “Santai belum lengkap tanpa Silver Queeeenn…” which means Relax will not be complete without Silver Queen.
There has been few range of SilverQueen chocolate lately, their classic one in a thin bar form, with almond or cashew nuts, or fruits. And later on came out Silver Queen Chunky Bar, which is thicker, and resembles Toblerone’s chocolate shape.
And now, it is Silver Queen Caramel. Inside the packaging, there are smaller packets of chocolate with caramel filling. Just like Choey Choco or Cloud 9 in Malaysia, only that this is thicker and more expensive.
Taste wise, it has thick caramel taste and quite nice though, but I still prefer the classic chocolate bar from Silver Queen.
Cheers…. now I feel like going to cafe for a sip of morning coffee. But where to? There are only normal Kopitiam available.

Some of you might have eaten before French Toast from your nearest local coffee stall.
So, one day when I was in the urge to have French Toast, and couldn’t find bread for it, with Pao (Chinese Bread) available, I decided to use it to give it a try.
What I did? Cut the Pao into half, fill with peanut butter, add on half slice of cheese, and close it up. Mixed 1 egg with 2 tablespoon of non-fat milk, and dip in the Pao into it. Heat the frying pan with margarine, and cook the Pao on it.
It turned out quite nice and tasty. Just love it.
You can try from your home too, with any kind of bread you have. hehehe Another picture for you….

Java Kitchen, another Indonesian restaurant in Singapore which probably some of you have heard before and seen it before somewhere. Yes. This restaurant first started in Food Republic Vivo City, and 3-5 months before, they opened a dedicated restaurant in Lucky Plaza 3rd Floor (just on the way to Ayam Bakar Ojolali).
The interior is quite nice, good lighting, and peaceful. The food ranges are great, and I like most of them. Although it might be the third time I am having it, since VIVO City is a place that we go to the least. And now I no longer in Singapore, they open a branch in Lucky Plaza. Continue reading »

Pecel, another famous snack in Indonesia, which resembles Gado-Gado, only that in Pecel, you have thicker peanut sauce, more varieties of vegetables, plus rice cube (lontong), yellow noodle and peanut crackers on top (peyek).
This is the result. Spicy, thick peanut taste, yummy and so great. But if your stomach can’t stand spicy food that much, not suggested to eat often.
Ain’t it nice?
Well, it might look a little messy, but its the taste that counts isn’t it? New month, new bandwidth limit. So, back to blogging and pictures pictures pictures again. Shall move ISP soon to the one with 3 GB bandwidth quota. 1 GB just never enough.
